Guiding Good Choices: Parent Education Workshop
A free five session workshop that gives parents of children in 4th-8th grade ways to meet the challenges of guiding their children through adolescent problem behaviors to healthy adulthood.

Supporting School Success

A free interactive ten-hour course that gives parents/guardians tools and strategies to interact effectively with their child and their child's school.  Participants will learn how to create a learning environment at home, effectively communicate among family members and become an active partner in their child's school.

Quality child care matters.  The Windham Child Care Association provides services to families including free assistance finding and selecting high-quality child care, counseling on how to recognize quality care programs, and help paying for child care through the Vermont chld care subsidy program. 

Early Education Services

Early Education Services (EES) is the designated Parent-Child Center, Head Start and Early Head Start program for Windham County, Vermont, serving over 250 families.  Additionally, EES provides mental health services to families through our Infant-Child Guidance Center, support for teen parents in the Reach-Up program, and visits to new families with the Welcome Babies project. 

Services are located at our primary Brattleboro site at 130 Birge St., with Brattleboro classroom sites on Canal St., Brattleboro Union High School, Brattleboro Centre for Children, Brattleboro Nursery School and West Bee Nursery.  Two classrooms are offered at our Westminster site.  Contact (802)254-3742 for more information.
